What happened in the murder of Camilo Palacio?
As reported by the Metropolitan Police on 19 November 2025, Camilo Palacio, aged 23, was shot and killed on the evening of 24 July 2022 in Haringey, North London. The shooting occurred at around 9:30pm on High Road near Turnpike Lane. Police attended immediately upon receiving reports of gunfire and found Camilo with gunshot wounds. Despite urgent first aid from officers and paramedics, including London’s Air Ambulance, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Camilo had been seen that evening in Stuart Crescent with a friend. At about 9:26pm, the pair were walking on a footpath towards High Road when shots were fired. Both tried to flee, but Camilo was tragically struck by the gunfire and later died.

Detectives investigating the murder have released new CCTV footage highlighting a dark Range Rover with a white roof spotted in the vicinity during the days leading up to and on the night of the shooting.
