Islington club Tiger Crane Kung Fu is celebrating a historic victory after its competition squad claimed nine medals, including five golds, at the BCCMA National Traditional Wushu Taolu Championships.
The club’s athletes delivered an outstanding performance across multiple categories at the prestigious national event, finishing with a haul of five gold, two silver and two bronze medals, one of the club’s most successful results at national level.
The British Council for Chinese Martial Arts (BCCMA) National Traditional Wushu Taolu Championships is the premier competition for traditional Chinese martial arts in the UK, drawing competitors from clubs across the country. Taolu refers to the practise of choreographed sequences of movements, forms, which are judged on technical precision, power, and expression.
