Samuel O. Idowu, editor of the Journal of Sustainable Business, has been recognised in the Springer Nature Editor of Distinction Awards 2026, receiving two major honours for his outstanding contributions to academic publishing.
The awards celebrate excellence within the global editorial community and acknowledge editors who demonstrate exceptional commitment to the peer review process and author support.
Idowu has been awarded:
- Editorial Contribution Award – recognising placement among the top 20% of editors based on manuscript handling and peer review stewardship.
- Author Service Award – recognising placement among the top 20% for efficiency in delivering timely and constructive editorial decisions.

These distinctions reflect his continued dedication to maintaining high editorial standards, supporting academic authors, and contributing to the advancement of research in sustainable business studies.
